Verified Reviewer |Customer Support has left the building
Several years ago when I couldn't remember my Master Password and had to reset it I was able to get live assistance. They do not store the Master Password where someone from support could get it, but they authenticated my account and gave me a one-time password to log in. Easy.
I recently had the same thing happen - I was logged out for the first time in a long time and couldn't remember my Master Password. Now there is zero - ZERO - way to get support. If you call their numbers you are directed to go to the support website. I opened a case, which was closed almost immediately. I reopened it and nothing is happening. I am going to be charged for my annual PREMIUM membership and I have no way to cancel it which means I am absolutely filing a fraudulent charge with my credit card company when it appears.
I'm assuming that since I am a Premium member I would get premium support but in order to access it I have to - you guessed it - log into my account with my master password. There's no access from the mobile app. Ridiculous.
It will be a pain in the *** but I'll just change passwords as I go along with Bitwarden.
User's recommendation: RUN and take your money elsewhere.

Verified ReviewerCannot log into LastPass because of Authenticator
For several years I have been using LastPass. Unfortunately I am unable to access my account (it looks that it happened after service works several days ago).
I was trying to login to my Lastpass account from my desktop several times. I am sure I hold the right password, but I am asked to authentify through the Authenticator App. Unfortunately Authenticator requests a 6 digit pin code. I am not sure if I established such code or I forgot it.
I tried different numbers compositions but all were rejected and I cannot use my LP account. The page on the internet browser requests a code to be sent via SMS. I never did receive any SMS. I clicked on call me but the answer specifies the call failed.
I'd like to contact assistance but it requests signing in ... which is precisely what I'd like to sort out. Both phone number for SMS and e-mail address are correct in the LP system. I got Information about Billing Failure (surely I would like to correct any problems with my credit card) several times to my regular e-mail address what means that it is a corect e-mail in the LastPass system.
In recovery procedure I also see the right phone number to receive SMS. In both cases, after many trials, I have not got any SMS or e-mail explaining what I can do to regain my LastPass account. From the web information it looks that there is no Help Desk or telephone number to contact. I used my search engine that I am locked out because I can't disable multi factor authentication.
This took me to the Last Pass platform and I used the button submitting my case. Unfortunately no response. Please help as I have many codes on my account, including my bank account so the case is really urgent.
Not speaking that I am a Premium user (or at least I would like to be still one) and I expected a really professional and responsible service.
An error has occurred while contacting the LastPass server. Please try again later.Dismiss

Verified ReviewerDoes not work well with MacOS and Google Chrome
I like LastPass and use it for all my passwords and other secure information. It works fine on my iPhone, but on MacOS Catalina 10.15 I keep getting the problem that it thinks I am logging on with a new machine.
I am not. I have 4 computers in total and have had these for years. I always use a Chrome browser and have it logged onto my Google account.
First LastPass tells me access is blocked and I have to get a code from my email. Annoying but it works after I enter the code, the first time.
However after a few times it stops sending the codes and I cannot use LastPass.
The other annoyance is that when I log on it tells me I have never been here before, offers me a tour and wants to install a Safari extension. I decline as I do not need a tour and do not use Safari, but again this is annoying.

Verified ReviewerCan't log in to Lastpass due to persistent MFA errors
Hi!
I'm logged into my Lastpass account on my phone, but can't log in on a desktop computer. I remember my Master Password, but it's the MFA that doesen't work.
As I choose to get an SMS nothing comes.
I used to have Google's MFA app for Lastpass, but then decided to swich all my MFAs to using the Lastpass Authenticator in stead. That's when the trouble started.
The Google MFA has been disabled as confirmed via a mail from you. But the Lastpass Authenticator won't work for getting into my vault on desktop. On my phone i just use my fingerprint and I'm in.
I actually thought I disabled all MFA in Lastpass (including the Lastpass Authentication option), but a MFA dialog keeps coming up when I have entered my email and master password in a desktop browser. But with a constant error message...
I have tried to solve all this by using the Account recovery process on your web page. In this case I do receive an SMS, and then confirm that I'm "not a robot". But then again there's just an error message saying my browser doesen't have the Lastpass addon or hasen't saved stuff.
I have definitely used Lastpass a lot in this web browser and do have the addon.
And it's the exact same thing on my laptop.
I can't seem to solve this on my own, but I think you should be able to help me. Especially as I have no trouble accesing my vault on my phone. (I hope it won't suddenly request MFA, cause then I might end up being locked out on my phone as well...) But as I said I might have disabled the whole MFA thing through my phone... But it's just as if the desktop browsers won't comply to this.
I will need help fixing this!
I have seen that in your forum there are similar cases that are several months old.
If this is a persistant problem for many users and you don't care to solve the underlying issues, I guess it might be time to jump platforms. But I'd rather prefer not to.

Can't recover account
I've done business with this company a long time. Years, in fact.
But suddenly I'm locked out of my account, and there is no tech support.
To be clear, I know what my Lastpass password is. I wrote it on a card which I keep in a small vault. It worked in the past, but I cannot login using it, now.
I tried using a one-time password to login, but when I clicked on the validation link in my email (as soon as it arrived) I was told it was expired. I attempted to get further help recovering my account on their Web site, but I end up going in circles, being shown articles I've already seen about methods to get in which I've already followed and which I've verified do not work.
User's recommendation: Do not do business with them. Certainly don't place anything important like passwords in their care.

Why would you assume you would get "premium support" whatever that is for the little money the thing costs? They told you for weeks that you had to upgrade your password to I believe 12 characters.
Did you do that?
If not, this is your fault. Why didn't you do the easy thing and hit the "forgot password" option and move on with your life?
You should have obtained a pencil and a scrap of paper. You could have had a written copy of your information.
All passwords, etc. should be backed up by paper.
Put the the information in some safe place away from the computer and it will always be available. This was all your own sloppy fault.
Okay boomer...
I’m pretty sure he’s not. Regardless, you are the ‘tard that cant remember your password and now have nothing.
